THE RETURN OF XENIA
When man made his appearance in the world, he found himself in front of an extremely inhospitable ecosystem.
When man made his appearance in the world, found himself in front of an extremely inhospitable ecosystem. Dangerous forests, jungles full of beasts, sidereal deserts and monstrous waters continually put their lives at risk, so much to consider human existence as a daily survival challenge, more than life as we mean today. With the arrival of the fire, at the bottom of science and technology, the man learned how to tame the nature and make it more hospitable. The arid lands became open-air gardens, the sea source of food and adventure, the forests a natural bank of wood and firstfruits, allowing the man to coexist with the rest of the creatures in harmony.
However, over time, man has taken advantage of the hospitality of nature, depriving it, exploiting it and becoming a sovereign. Nature’s response is, bitter: the ice is melting, desertification advances and earthquakes shake the cities. They have come back to an original and prehistoric xenophobic state, where neither nature nor man knows whether they have a guest who designs peace or a foreigner who threatens war: in their mutual distrust look lies the fate of all we.
